Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions under which orders can be cancelled on FikarQ. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to provide a fair cancellation process for both clients and freelancers.
2. Cancellation by Client
As a client, you may request to cancel an order under the following conditions:
Before Work Starts
- Full Refund: If cancelled within 24 hours of order placement and before freelancer starts work
- No cancellation fee applies
- Refund processed within 5-7 business days
After Work Has Started
- Partial Refund: Based on work completed, as determined by dispute resolution
- Freelancer is compensated for work already done
- Both parties must agree on cancellation terms
After Delivery
- Cancellation not applicable after delivery acceptance
- Use revision requests for modifications
- Refer to Refund Policy for post-delivery concerns
3. Cancellation by Freelancer
Freelancers may cancel an order under these circumstances:
- Client is unresponsive for more than 5 days and required info is pending
- Client's requirements are outside the scope of the original gig
- Personal emergency (documented, with platform notification)
- Client violates platform terms of service
Note: Frequent cancellations by freelancers may affect their profile rating and visibility on the platform.
4. Mutual Cancellation
Both parties can agree to cancel an order mutually at any stage:
- Either party initiates a cancellation request through the order page
- The other party must accept the cancellation within 48 hours
- If not accepted, the case goes to dispute resolution
- Mutual cancellations result in full refund to the client
- Both parties can leave feedback about the cancellation reason
5. Automatic Cancellation
Orders may be automatically cancelled in the following situations:
- Payment fails or is flagged as fraudulent
- Freelancer doesn't respond within 48 hours of order placement
- Account suspension of either party
- Violation of platform policies detected
6. Cancellation Process
To cancel an order:
- Log in to your FikarQ account
- Navigate to "My Orders" section
- Select the order you wish to cancel
- Click "Request Cancellation"
- Select a reason for cancellation
- Provide additional details if required
- Submit the request
7. Refund After Cancellation
Refund timelines after order cancellation:

8. Dispute Resolution
If cancellation terms cannot be agreed upon:
- Either party can escalate to FikarQ's dispute resolution team
- Our team reviews all evidence within 5 business days
- A fair decision is made based on our policies and evidence
- FikarQ's decision is final and binding
